Hooded Merganser is the smallest merganser and the most common in the Brigantine Wildlife Refuge. This Hooded Merganser Lophodytes cucullatus was fishing with his mate when I drove by. I was able to back up and take a few pictures of the Hooded Merganser pair before they noticed me and went away.
